Community Involvement |
Our Facility |
Through various field trips such as the fire station, dentist office, pumpkin patch, library, match box theatre, and much more, the children learn about their community. The Wee Learning Center also stresses the student's own importance to the community by participating in projects such as the Ronald McDonald House, food for the needy, and Christmas caroling at the nursing home.
We are located on the first floor of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Our newly constructed classrooms provide a colorful, clean and comfortable learning atmosphere for the children. A fenced in playground area offers a safe place for outdoor play on our equipment.

Special Events |

Our parents are an important part of the Wee Learning Center. The board consists of three parents from each age group and three congregation members. They are involved in making policies, budget, and planning special events.
At the Wee Learning Center we have special times during the school year. In the fall we have a get acquainted evening and crafts at the Fall Fling. In class we have Halloween costume party and a Thanksgiving turkey meal with the children. We will have both a Christmas program and an end of the year graduation program.
